Maupay nga adlaw ngadto han bungto han Tanauan! I was able to surf your website and I was surprised that, many places are now booming and I can only imagine, as to what are the many new things were put in places, as I never had a chance anymore to visit Tanauan, anymore. Anyway, the reason why I’m sending an e-mail letter is that, I’m looking for the address of a catholic church. I was referred by one Msgr., who at that time, was the Head of Santo Nino Church of Tacloban City, that, if I wanted to talk to other Msgrs., in Tanauan, that, I could see them, but, I never had the chance to visit the two priests, whose names were referred to me, for I, to talk to them about something. But, a relative of mine, was able to tell me, that, Fr. Ramon Silas, still in Santo Nino Church of Tanauan, Leyte. The two are cousins.

The Tanauan Leyte Pasaka Festival was a display of talent and creativity. Each of the competing schools gave their best to the cheering crowd. Had you been there during the live performance you would have been amazed at the props and moves of the competitors.
For the elementary level, Tanauan II Central School was the Champion while Cabuynan Elementary School garnered the 1st place and Tanauan I Central School landed in the 2nd place.
For the Secondary Level, the Tanauan National High School were the champions with the Tanauan School of Craftsmanship and Home Industries in the 1st place and Assumption Academy for the 2nd place. Read the rest of this entry »
