23All fellow Tanauaneños:
Those who are in Manila and would like to venture Call Center career opportunity, TUCP offers PGMA Scholarship. It is located in QC Circumference, TUCP Headquarters and screens every Friday. It’s a day screening from written exam to oral exam down to phone testing. If able to score the 55 to 80, you qualify, score is 25 to 54, may still be considered for Call Center Training for a minimal fee of Php3000.00. Compare with other TESDA accredited with PGMA Finishing Course, this NGO is far more reliable and it has numbers to tell that theirs is serious enough in helping our fellows, who are jobless and would like to venture the said industry.

It’s not in Tanauan. It’s in QC and i think it’s finished already.

TUCP offers the program in continuing basis, or at most while PGMA is still around. Those interested may surf the net and look for TUCP Program/s (Call Center and Medical Transcription).

Please be informed that there are BPO’s about to open in Leyte, and APAC Customers had initiated its job fair last 14-16 at SMED. Soon to follow are several BPO’s. Of course, there are BPO’s which require no experience at all, and others do. It depends on the hiring criteria. Getting back to TUCP offerings, my point of sharing are for those who are already in Metro and who considers BPO as an option and alternate means of earning a living yet does not have any background. And, TUCP has that offering that may entail not so expensive in comparison with other Learning Centers, should one does not qualify the criteria for PGMA Scholarship.

Mr.L.Talens,
I really don’t comprehend it!! The other day there was one lady on the boob tube saying something like ” local call centers are or might be trimming down because some outsourcing foreign companies are folding up! Folding up they are!!
But this morning there was that news on the boob tube (again) saying that the local call center industry is in need of around 100.000 (?) one hundred thousand employees. This is good news Mr.Talens!! But the thing is they are mostly in Maynila!!
So those who “HAVE WHAT IT TAKES” go for it!! Get to Maynila and perhaps you could check with the TUCP just to make sure you are what they need!! YOU CAN DO IT PEOPLE!!!!
Thanks and good luck to all!! Ciaooo!!!
