I happened to get back to Tacloban City for a two day roadshow presentation to launch a livelihood grant program last April 19-20, 2007 for the benefit of our brothers in Region VIII (The program is called Grassroots Entrepreneurs for Ecotourism or aptly acronymed GREET. It was conceived to enhance the livelihood opportunities preferably for promising young entrepreneurs who can best explore the inherent tourist drawing potentials of the ecotourism sites. During the course of the discussions in the other topics posted on this blog I noticed the legitimate concerns of our fellow Tanuananons regarding the protection of our shorelines from erosions which may be caused by rising sea levels and other natural phenomenon.
