I happened to get back to Tacloban City for a two day roadshow presentation to launch a livelihood grant program last April 19-20, 2007 for the benefit of our brothers in Region VIII (The program is called Grassroots Entrepreneurs for Ecotourism or aptly acronymed GREET. During the course of the discussions in the other topics posted on this blog I noticed the legitimate concerns of our fellow Tanuananons regarding the protection of our shorelines from erosions which may be caused by rising sea levels and other natural phenomenon. Although scientific studies are essential in determining the causes of this problem, the question remains on when are we going to take action in protecting our shores.
